Photograph of a group of young Hispanic children standing in a dirt clearing in front of a chain-link fence. They are assembled for a group photograph. Many of the children are laughing and looking around, and many other are looking at the camera. A couple of adults are scattered throughout the group. Two of the children, who are both standing on the far left-hand side of the image, are holding balls. There is handwriting in marker at both the top and the bottom on the image that reads, "Betanio Mission July 1936". There is more handwriting on the back of the photograph that reads, "San Antonio, Texas. Rev. A Fewardy".
