High Lonesome Camp of Lee Trimble
Creator
Description
Photograph of Lee Trimble's High Lonesome Camp at the top of the rimrock overlooking Mexico. This camp was south of the trail that the Mexican's used to raid the Brite Ranch. There was a telephone at the camp to the ranch house. The man, probably Lee Trimble, stands outside his canvas tent wearing a holster. His saddle sits on a stand next to him. This photo was included in a report by McMinn White for an American History class at Marfa High School in 1975.
