Southern California football fans knew all about Jim Plunkett even before the Raiders moved to L.A. During his Heisman Trophy-winning season at Stanford University, he buried USC and UCLA. In the NFL, the Mexican-American Plunkett resurrected his career with the Raiders, leading them to two Super Bowl wins. Photo dated: January 7, 1984.
