Images Were Chosen From Family Albums And Include Daily Life, Social Organizations, Work, Personal And Holiday Celebrations, And Migration And Immigration Activities. Made Possible And Accessible Through The Generous Support Of The Security Pacific National Bank, Sunlaw Cogeneration Partners, Photo Friends, California Council For The Humanities, The Ralph M. Parsons Foundation, And The John Randolph Haynes And Dora Haynes Foundation

To the right of the photo is a newspaper article which reads, "Ramies Bags 157-Pound Buck in Francisquito. R.A. (Duke) Ramies, hunting with Ben Hrabak, also of San Pedro, bagged a two-point buck in San Francisquito canyon over the weekend. The animal weighed 157 pounds dressed. Fifty bucks have been killed in the district according to ranger station reports, the local hunters stated on their return."
